🌟 What a Day! Thank You from Bay Area Brewing Company
Yesterday’s fundraiser was nothing short of magical! With heavy hearts for those affected by the Texas Hill Country floods—and the brightest spirits among us—your support made all the difference for both The Hunt Store and The Full Moon Inn.
⸻
💛 About Our Beloved Beneficiaries
• The Full Moon Inn heroically closed its doors to B&B guests on July 5 and became a full-time shelter for first responders, volunteers, and families turned away by FEMA and Red Cross. Your generosity supports not just repairs—but healing and care where it’s needed most.
• The Hunt Store, established in 1946, has served as the beating heart of Hunt, TX for nearly 80 years—offering locals and visitors a café, grocery, music venue, bank, and gathering place. It’s more than a building—it’s a legacy.

☀️ A Day Full of Resilience & Joy
Thank you to every one of you—whether you popped in for a quick visit or spent the whole day with us. You made time during your holiday weekend to uplift a cause that truly matters.
We had two moments of power overloads in the taproom, and the A/C fought hard against what may have been the hottest day of the summer—but your patience and positivity carried the day. That’s the BABCO spirit!

🎶 Special Shout-Outs to Our Amazing Entertainers
• Billy Snipes kicked off the event with laid-back, island-style tunes that set the perfect tone
• Steel Drums, coordinated by Nic Goodman, are still MIA—we’re sending love and well wishes for their safety and return!
• Rockport Cajun legends Boudreau & Pousson brought 150% energy, packed the patio, and made the evening unforgettable

🧂 Lost Shaker of Salt… FOUND (twice!)
Our mysterious margarita icon made two surprise appearances throughout the day!
• A clever family found the salt shaker hiding in a shady beer garden tree, then decided to pour it forward and re-hide it for another guest to find
• A few hours later, Nancy from Wisconsin spotted it tucked into the stage backdrop during Boo & Poo’s performance—what a sharp eye!
🎁 Both winners received 2 VIP Tickets to Bay Area Brewing Company’s 2025 Oktoberfest (📅 Sept 27)—now officially on sale online and in the taproom!
🥨🍺 Get yours before Spur the Rooster sells ‘em all out!

A massive thank-you to all the auction donors and ticket buyers! With 20 drawing winners, every single recipient was thrilled to be contacted and take home their prize. From gift cards to goodies, the excitement was real—and every ticket helped push our fundraiser total higher.
Your generosity made joy tangible. THANK YOU. 💛
