Bay Area Brewing Co is more than a brewery; it’s a family veteran-owned haven where fresh experiences blend seamlessly with a sense of community. Our family-friendly space beckons with relaxation, board games, and a dedicated play area for kids. Choose from creatively dressed beers or explore alternatives like TX ciders, draft coffee, kombucha, and sodas. Rooted in values of community, approachability, and sustainability, we’re on a mission to craft exceptional beer with purpose. Join us for flexible hours, engaging events, and monthly beer features as you become a part of Bay Area Brewing Co’s unique tapestry.
We will offer a “brewpub” experience, where we can serve our beer, cater to wine drinkers, and decide to distribute our product later if we want to. Our space will host local food truck vendors while providing a space for guests to enjoy a craft beer and a bite to eat with friends. Â
Our History
From Passion to Pouring
2015
Will is inspired by his first tour of a craft brewery and starts his venture in home brewing.
2017-2019
Will retires from the US Navy in Virginia and pursues his education of mastering his passion by certifying at the University of Vermont, University of Richmond, and the Brewing & Distilling Center of Knoxville TN.
2018-2020
Will apprenticed with some of the most popular breweries in the VA region such as Hardwood Park Craft Brewery and 3 Notch’d Brewing Company.
2019
Diedra retires from the US Navy and joins Will on a journey into the historic beer scene of Richmond Virginia and the surrounding eastern coast.
2021
We moved our family back to where it all began for them along the coastal bend.
2022- Current
Actively involved with South Texas Breweries and the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, together Will and Diedra have combined their knowledge and experiences to start up their brewery.
